To
make the transfer between research and teaching tangible, the CATI
research centre has taken the initiative by posting additional course
material on its site that professors from several fields of English
wish to make available to their students. These documents make it
possible to experiment interaction between face-to-face teaching
and distance learning, which is already the case for Maîtrise
(Masters) and DEA (postgraduate) students of English who are studying
abroad as part of their studies, and who remain in regular contact
              in this way.
This type of aid has been gradually extended to other levels and
students appreciate having access to documents that cannot easily
be distributed to them as photocopies.
At the same time, training in research methodology is now fully
integrated into courses and help in information retrieval is provided
from the first year. Each of these courses contains a "Programme"
section, if necessary with a course bibliography and a "Resources"
section, which is progressively becoming more interactive. |
