How to get there : http://www.bodley.ox.ac.uk/oxlip
"Oxlip" is the acronym for "Oxford Libraries Information Platform". The logo is the flower named the "oxlip".
Oxlip is a
gateway placed on the website of the Bodleian Library in Oxford (the University Library, refounded by Sir Thomas Bodley in 1602 -- see "bodley" in the web address or URL). The Oxford URL is formed on the pattern of academic sites in Britain: [name].ac.uk

You will see a classified list of subjects.
Then click (Section "Social Sciences") on "Sociology"; you will have access to numerous resources that we can explore at other times: "Index to the House of Commons Parliamentary Papers" or "International Bibliography of Maps and Atlases"...

Today we are going to study one of these resources, SOSIG (Social Sciences Information Gateway) http://www.sosig.ac.uk
You find a list of topics, e.g. "Geography" or "Philosophy" which we can pursue later. In the list, select "European Studies", then in the left-hand margin under "Tutorials" select "Eurostudies" http://www.vts.rdn.ac.uk/tutorial/eurostudies
