A RETROSPECTIVE VIEW OF ANAMORPHOSIS GIVEN BY THE NEW MEDIA

An exhibition held in 2004-05 at the Hayward Gallery, London, 'Eyes, Lies and Illusions', showed the continuity between Renaissance and present-day optical illusions. Werner Nekes, the collector of optical tricks which form the nucleus of this exhibition,was a film producer.
